Fabares rose to fame as Mary Stone, the teenage daughter on The Donna Reed Show. The cast included Donna Reed, Carl Betz as Dr. Alex and Paul Petersen as her brother Jeff; later seasons added Patty as the adopted daughter. Cast at 14 when the series began in 1958, Fabares was a regular for five seasons and returned as a guest during the final three years before the show ended in 1966.
